Mark D. Henry, O.D.
Mark Henry received his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1993 and has been practicing for over 15 years. In addition, Dr. Henry received his Bachelor of the Arts degree in English from Kenyon College and has attended Ohio State University for Post Graduate continuing education.
Dr. Henry’s professional experience includes externship stints at the Chicago Osteopathic Medical Center, the Illinois Eye Institute, the Illinois Visually Handicapped Institute and Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind. Dr. Henry is certified in the diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular disease and has worked extensively in the pre-operative and post-operative management with cataract and laser refractive surgery.
Dr. Henry has served as a member of the Ohio Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry and the American Optometric Association. His awards include membership in the Gold Key Optometric Honor Society, former Leadership and Service scholar and Illinois Alumnus of the Year.
Dr. Henry owns and operates both Primary Vision Care offices in Newark and Lancaster, while residing in the area with his wife and four children.
Rebecca A. Olding, O.D.
Dr. Rebecca Olding earned a degree in Microbiology in 2004 from Miami University of Ohio. In 2008, she graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Olding has been a clinical preceptor to Ohio State Optometry Interns as well as a clinical laboratory instructor for the College of Optometry at Ohio State. During her ocular disease residency, Dr. Olding received advanced training on the detection, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease along with anterior segment disease, glaucoma and retinal disease.
Dr. Olding is also certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy, a non-surgical process clinically developed to reshape the cornea while you sleep, resulting as a temporary correction of myopia (nearsightedness) with or without moderate astigmatism.
Member of both the Ohio and American Optometric Associations, Dr. Olding is accepting new and return patients of all ages for comprehensive eye care and ocular disease management. Dr. Olding resides in the area and is married to fellow Optometrist, Dr. Jacob Olding.
